For workplaces
Bring colleagues together with a live company quiz
A company quiz has to work for the person who joined last week and the person who has been there fifteen years. That means a question mix nobody feels excluded by, a short agenda, and a host who never has to explain the rules twice.
Design for mixed departments
Aim for roughly a third easy, a third medium and a third harder questions, spread across general knowledge, culture and light logic. Avoid single-department jargon unless the round is clearly labelled.
Keep the difficulty curve gentle at the start: two accessible questions at the top get quiet people answering.
A 30–45 minute agenda that finishes on time
- 0–5 min: open the lobby, everyone scans, you explain scoring in one sentence.
- 5–15 min: warm-up round, six questions, 20 seconds each.
- 15–25 min: main round, eight questions, 25 seconds each, leaderboard after.
- 25–35 min: final round, six questions, higher points.
- 35–40 min: final podium, full rankings, prizes.
Optional company-specific questions
Company questions land best when everyone could plausibly know the answer: the year the office moved, a product name, a team photo. Collect suggestions from a couple of colleagues rather than one department, and never use questions that reveal salaries, performance data, personal details or anything confidential.
Branding and remote colleagues
From Starter upwards you can put your logo and brand colour on the lobby and big screen; Pro and Business can remove Trivolino branding entirely.
For hybrid teams, share the display view over your video call and have remote colleagues join by scanning the QR from the shared screen or opening the join link. Everything they need is in the phone browser.
Frequently asked questions
- Which plan suits a company quiz?
- Up to 50 players, Starter. Up to 150, Pro. Company-wide events up to 500 players, Business. Capacity above 50 is sold once its load test has passed.
- Can colleagues play in teams?
- Trivolino scores individual players. Teams can gather round one phone per team and enter a team name as the nickname.
- Can other people in my company host?
- Yes. Invite them to your workspace as an admin or host, within your plan's member limit.
- Do we need to collect email addresses from players?
- No. Basic gameplay needs a nickname only — we deliberately do not ask players for an email address or phone number.
- Can we keep the results?
- Yes. Rankings and per-question summaries are kept on every plan; CSV export is available from Starter and detailed participant reports from Pro.
