For event organisers

Add a live quiz to your next event

A quiz is the easiest interactive segment to add to an existing programme: no kit to hire, no paper to collect, and a leaderboard that gives the room a reason to stay in their seats.

AV and room setup

  • Send the display view to the main screen in fullscreen — it is built for 16:9 and avoids scrolling.
  • Give the host a separate laptop with its own screen; never mirror the host view to the audience.
  • Check the QR code is readable from the back row: if not, read the short join code from the stage.
  • Plan for phone battery — a long programme benefits from charging points.

Rehearse once, then trust it

Preview mode simulates participants so you can rehearse the full flow, including reveals and leaderboards, without admitting real players or using your monthly event allowance.

Run the rehearsal on the actual screen and the actual network, ideally at the same time of day.

Multiple sessions and multiple stages

Each event has its own link, code and QR. You can prepare as many draft events as you like on any plan; how many can be live at the same moment depends on the plan — one on Free and Starter, three on Pro and ten on Business.

If a session fills up, existing players keep reconnecting and new arrivals see a clear message. After an upgrade you can raise the running session's capacity without restarting it.

Contingency and reporting

If the host device drops off the network, the open question still closes on time and the event resumes when the host returns. Refreshing the host or display screen does not restart the event.

Afterwards you get final rankings and per-question summaries, CSV export from Starter, and individual answer histories and correct-answer rates on Pro and Business.

Frequently asked questions

How large an audience can join?
Up to 500 unique players in one event on Business. Pro and Business capacities go on sale after their 150 and 500 player load tests pass.
Can sponsors be visible on the big screen?
You can apply one logo and brand colour per event from Starter upwards, and remove Trivolino branding on Pro and Business.
What happens if my subscription changes mid-event?
A running session keeps the limits it was authorised with when its lobby opened, for up to 24 hours. Billing changes only affect new sessions.
Can a colleague host while I run the rest of the programme?
Yes. Invite them as a host and assign them the event; they can run it and see its results.
